Golf Teachers Federation Great Britain & Ireland

In recognition of the industry's growth and in response to the demand for Qualified personable Golf Teaching Professionals, the Golf Teachers Federation Great Britain & Ireland was established to provide the training to become a certified golf teaching professional

The Golf Teachers Federation of Great Britain provides individuals an opportunity to be trained and educated as highly skilled golf teaching professionals.  The GTF Great Britain & Ireland holds diploma training courses throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States of America.
Spaces are limited and early reservations are advised.

The GTF Great Britain & Ireland is a full member of the World Golf Teachers Federation, which, was established in 1989 and is the largest organization of golf teaching professionals in the world. The following federations are members of the World Golf Teachers Federation: United States, Canadian, Mexico, Ireland, Great Britain, Germany, Dutch, Spanish, French, Portugal, Russian, Mexican, Brazil PGA, South American, Taiwan, Korea, Japanese, Hong Kong, China, Australian, India, Scandinavian and South Africa.  We have over 12,000 qualified members representing 62 foreign countries. Our teaching professionals hold positions at public and private country clubs, golf schools, driving ranges, indoor facilities, high schools and colleges and are managers at public and private golf facilities

Members of the GTF Great Britain & Ireland and the WGTF are offered exclusive membership as part of our global family of golf teaching professionals.

With professionalism and excellence, the GTF Great Britain & Ireland and WGTF establish the nation's and world's standard for golf teaching professionals.

Mission Statement

The World Gold Teachers Federation was founded and incorporated in 1989. It is probably the largest organization of golf teaching professionals in the world. The aim of the WGTF is to train and certify qualified teaching professionals to serve the world golf public.

The Golf Teaching Federation Great Britain & Ireland , through innovative, effective swing mechanics, and teaching methodology, establishes a national and international standard in training and certification for professional golf teachers. In addition, the GTF Great Britain & Ireland provides services for its members and promote the organization and the golf teaching profession.

People who wish to become members of the GTF Great Britain & Ireland must pass one of the 7-day certification courses that are held at various location across the United Kingdom each year. Upon becoming a member, each person receives the latest information on ongoing education and membership news via the Golf Pro Magazine, "the official membership publication of the GTF Great Britain & Ireland and WGTF."
